Leafar Legov, spelled Rafael Vogel backwards, is a music producer from Thüringen, Germany. He is a part of the dual Deep House project that is Kettenkarussell, with Herr Koreander. Legov's relationship with club music seems purely conditional—he'll follow its guidelines only when they happen to suit his creative impulses. With Kettenkarussell, he makes what could loosely be described as downtempo house. On his solo records, he offsets ambient sketches with somber hip-hop instrumentals.
